I LOVED the bubblegum cigarettes! Especially (like you say) how you could blow out a puff of powdered sugar smoke.

Same as Popeye cigarettes…when they used to be called “cigarettes” and not lame-ass “Candy Sticks”. And they even had that little dab of red dye on the end to simulate the lit end.

Of course, that would NEVER fly with today’s bleeding-heart parents and PC-granola crunchers. Because apparently that glorifies smoking, and forces kids into a life of chain-smoking and lung cancer by the time they’re 15.

Funny, though, how me and my friends all grew up all kinds of “bad influences” like that. Yet we never smoked, and never will.
