I don't wash very many new articles of clothing before I wear them. It's as wrinkle free as they'll ever be, you know? Plus I'm sure any germs that were on them were already transferred to my hands and from there to my mouth and nose before I even got out of the store. Things that come from those sales bins at Victoria's secret semi-annual sale are always washed before wearing though. One day I will have to do a definitive post on why people feel compelled to rewash clothes they are about to give away with extremely strong smelling detergent or fabric softener when everyone knows hand-me-downs get washed before wearing.
