These are truly some of the grodiest foods that I’ve ever seen. This is a great motivator to lose weight. I’ll come take a look when I get hungry. That way I’ll lose my appetite and remain on my diet LOL

My first roommate’s mom was Korean. Through her I learned to love bibimbap and this delicious sweet and spicy dried cuttlefish snack. My roommate and I would eat huge jars of it that her mom would prepare for us.

I glanced at your other blog too, it’s great! I’ve known several women with Korean moms, and I think you’re right, they’d all benefit from therapy. =) My mom’s Chinese, and another friend’s dad is Japanese. It’s hard growing up Hapa in this country, it’s especially hard trying to understand your Asian parent’s heritage and customs when they differ from that of all your friends. I love my Chinese mom, but I was in my mid 20s before I began to understand her.

The cheeseburger in a can was just dreadful. I couldn’t even look at the pictures. I’ve tried the silkworm pupa before and I have to agree that it does taste like dirt.

Your brother is cute and brave. I love hearing you laughing off-camera.

I’m not very brave when it comes to grody food. I’d have to say the worst was black pudding, which is funny, considering you imagined the horrifying haggis in a can to be black pudding to get thru eating it. And I was a guest at a dinner and HAD to eat it. I don’t remember what I thought of. Probably dying.
