i, like you, never win anything and would have been happy to win anything. if i already have it, well then i might sell it and turn a me a little profit and buy something i don't have. how bad is that.

i like being around people who are enthusiastic about something, but not loud about it. a quiet but noticeable passion i guess.

Natural´s last blog post..I am conductor, hear me cook

I usually come here to laugh but today I got some awesome words and phrases.

1. Funsucker - I know so many people like that.
2. Backwards reframing - perfect

And, sorry, but was this a prize for Tracy or a punishment for Tim? ;-)

I feel sorry for people who feel the need to rain on someones parade. Just because you won something that you already get? That just means you are saving money that is always a good thing.

Shucks, ma'am. I think we tend to cheer each other on. I bet you still have the Go Group dance mix on here somewhere, don't you?

Kristin, I think the other thing these funsuckers (my dyslexia always twists that word into something much more entertaining) lack is the understanding that gratitude for the blessings in one's life—large and small—brings more and more blessings. My life is rich, full, brimming, overflowing with abundance and love and joy and amazing opportunities. And I recognize and am grateful for each one.

Tracy, who has already benefitted so much from life coaching—and has grown so much in just a short time because of it—now gets the chance to gain even more. And that's unlucky . . . how?

Perspective: use it or lose it. (Apologies to Richard Bach, who is probably at this moment, writing a fictionalized version of my life as well.)

I'm with you—I love any story that ends with the question "What are the chances of THAT?" Not to mention that life coaching doesn't seem to fit into the category of "something you already had," any more than love, hugs, sex, therapy, a massage, or any other number of things we benefit from again and again. Who is this funsucker, anyway? Does he/she tell his/her partner "No thanks, I've already had sex once, so I'll take a chandelier instead"??

I'm also with you on "how much energy I get from people who have a passion and aren’t afraid to show it." I guess that's a big part of what being a true extrovert is all about—deriving energy from others.

Hi Vered! I think some people have this weird talent for backwards reframing. You tell them you won the lottery, they immediately say "Well, it will only be 600K after taxes".
