Loved this article! I Twittered a similar question to my friends and no one even responded. I knew more people in the world besides myself had to have wondered about never seeing birds drop dead from the sky without being somehow assaulted first, so I typed my question into Ask.com and found all of you! I've enjoyed this whole topic immensely! However- since you started it- I have to bring Jesus back into it. Matthew 10:29 says:
'Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father.'
So apparently it does happen if God is in the mood to smoat little birds, otherwise apart from Him, it just does not happen. Though it does appear it only happens to Sparrows... hmmm,
wonder what they ever did to deserve that. Must have been bad... :)

Oh, okay. Obviously this was the only article I read. Bummer, not only did it sound good, but I sort of wished it was true. Never mind then. :)

Hi Jacob! Sorry, we're just funning with ya. The whole premise of "Plausible Answers for Inexplicable Crap" is that I just make up answers that I think sound good. Later posts like this one on money. have a disclaimer at the beginning, but this was the first article in the series and I didn't think to include one.

Umm ... Okay. :) So is your statement just something you heard? I wasn't able to find anything supporting this and I seems that something this "poetic" would be plastered all over the internet. It really would be a pity if your claim is just an Urban Legend. :\

Sorry, I don't mean to be that guy that goes through and scrutinizes random articles. I just found this interesting and would like to confirm its validity before spreading it. :)
