Hi If you are serious about loosing some weight and keeping it off its a change of eating habits that's needed. Most people loose weight then put it back on when they diet, the idea is to change your eating habits so that food is enjoyable but healthy, otherwise the weight won't stay off. Also if you can add some exercise even if its only half hour a day it will help a great deal. I guess its easy for a man to say these things, but my wife is a great inspiration to me, she is very keen on eating healthy and keepfit and went training at out gym up until 2 days before she had our daughter and was back again after only 2 weeks.

"...because unlike most Americans, I really care what celebrities think."

Huh Tracy? What America are you talking about? LOL! I don't give a crap what some celebrity thinks unless they are a celebrity because of their thinking. However, given the way Americans fawn over celebrities and hang on their every word, I think most of America cares way too much what they think.

Hi Sym, I'm not sure, I guess we'll see in another couple of months if nothing happens. My weight before #2 son was 120 and then it was six years of babies, babies, babies, so who knows what my new weight will be. I suspect it will be less than 150 but a lot more than 120. You have to remember, I have a very small build so I should be on the lower end of the healthy range. I suspect that sleep deprivation has played a major part in this because I started putting on weight rapidly (20 lbs like BAM) when the baby started not sleeping and finally started losing it when he started sleeping a little better.

On the other hand, like I told Vered, I would be happy at this weight forever, if I don't gain anymore - not so much because of vanity, but I'm very scared of diabetes. So, staying at a healthy weight and eating a good diet and exercising are very important to me.

I gotta be honest with ya, I think at 5'10", you are already at a decent weight. Possibly, you are at your natural "set point", which is usually a range (150-155). I do think it is wise to eat healthily (is that a word ?) and exercise, but I am not sure if Weight Loss is a workable plan. I'm 5'10", and my set point (when I am fit and toned) is 150-155.(I am almost there !) When I was single, thin, childless and care free, I was 140-145. Those days will not be back. The rough rule of thumb is 100 lbs for 5 ft tall, then add 5 lb for each inch over 5 ft.
