I am learning a lot and that is one of the many positives of taking this on, my skill set is growing and soon I will be able to take an unpaid position at an even bigger and more stressful message board! It is sometimes hard to reconcile how to balance being part of the community and staying responsive to the communities needs and wants while at the same time looking at the bigger picture and what is best long term for the board, and frankly, for myself. Part of that is growing a much thicker skin - the downside to that is I don't feel as much a valued member of the community and more like a business owner. I don't think anyone realizes how much goes into it until you've BTDT. Thanks for all you do. I hope no one gets so drunk at your party that they puke on the carpet. That always ruins a good party.
