I am glad you enjoy the blogs. You do a great job with the site, in my opinion.

Now, off to start a thread with lots of caps and OMGs BFFs etc

Heh, here is where I confess that I rarely, if ever, need to log in as root and most of the intricate technological tweaking is done by my husband. I am learning a lot and that is one of the many positives of taking this on, my skill set is growing and soon I will be able to take an unpaid position at an even bigger and more stressful message board!

It is sometimes hard to reconcile how to balance being part of the community and staying responsive to the communities needs and wants while at the same time looking at the bigger picture and what is best long term for the board, and frankly, for myself. Part of that is growing a much thicker skin - the downside to that is I don't feel as much a valued member of the community and more like a business owner. It was either that or forever walk around thinking that people must dislike me and not care for me and that I'm a talentless incompetent who was stupid to think she could pull it off.

Tracy´s last blog post..Biggest Loser, Episode 6: The Crock of Crap

I haven't ever been an administrator, much less a root administrator but I have done a lot of behind the scenes work for an internet community. I don't think anyone realizes how much goes into it until you've BTDT.

Thanks for all you do.

I hope no one gets so drunk at your party that they puke on the carpet. That always ruins a good party.
